The AXIS 241 Video Servers are designed for professional surveillance applications. They provide easy integration with traditional analog systems, ensuring a smooth migration toward an IP solution. The AXIS 241Q and AXIS 241S Video Servers digitize analog video into crisp, real-time Motion JPEG and MPEG-4 video streams at full frame rate for professional video surveillance and remote monitoring. The AXIS 241S has one analog video input and one video loop-through port for an analog monitor, in addition to an Ethernet connection.
The AXIS 241 offers advanced event handling with video motion detection, I/O control and alarm notification. Pan/tilt/zoom cameras may be connected to the unit's serial port and are easily controlled from a user interface. Security features include multiple user access levels with password protection, IP address filtering and HTTPS encryption.
